Pro: - Nice leather of course - Lining doesn't leave that many "Vaja" tracks on the screen as did earlier versions - Better looking stitching than older versions Cons: - Stitching alread came off on one corner (18 month) - Camel Bridge leather looked darker than Pinecone in no time (a wanted effect with vegetable tanning, but you need to be aware how extreme it is). - Bridge leather loses its texture faster than chrome tanned from my observations In general, this is a nice functional case, but the patina Vaja advertises isn't that great, it rather loses appeal over time. But most phones won't stay for more than 2 years anyway.
I've enjoyed the vaja product for a very long time, since the very first & original iPhone, I had a registered account with vaja since about 2005 Not once has this been recognised. I've never received any reward or loyalty appreciation. Fir every phone I've had I've probably bought two or three cases which are not cheap but well made. With postage & packing I've spent between £80-180 approx. I've bought some for gifts too. Mental arithmetic informs me I've probably spent over £1000 over the years, probably much more and yet I've never enjoyed any promotional loyalty discount even though there is a box which allows for this on ordering and I've asked a few times. So on this, Vaja get no stars from me. Enjoy the product! Patrick Walker.
Excellent product, great quality!
The Nuova Pelle is a beautiful, great case, particularly for a smaller phone like the SE. It is incredibly thin, stylish leather provides excellent grip, top flips effortlessly with one hand, yet magnetized connection to face is gentle but firm. Would it be possible to make the face stick to the back also Also wonder about a cutout on the top front of face, so that camera could be used while against the back. However, this would detract from the appearance of the face.
This is the third iPhone case I've bought. New iPhone; new Vaja. Well made and glue has never failed. The last one came rather fast. I've had to wait a few month before while they rounded up an Argentinian cow. Worth waiting.
